Research Interests
Studies of reaction mechanism of enzymes and medical function mechanism: Theoretical research on the enzymatic catalysis reaction; Interaction mechanism of drugs and related target and rational drug design; Research on the active components of Tibetan medicines.
Group Leader
Professor Yongjun Liu, obtained his Ph.D. in physical chemistry. He was a candidate of the Hundred Talents Program of Chinese Academy of Science 2006, and as a full professor works in the Northwest Plateau Biology Research Institute. Dr. Liu focused his studies on the biological macromolecule system by using quantum chemistry computation and molecular simulation. At present, Dr. Liu undertakes many projects including “National Defense 973 program”, the Natural Science Foundation of China, and “Hundred Talents Program” of Chinese Academy of Science.
