Dr. Wang Honglun, male, professor and supervisor of graduate,was born in Shandong Province in July 1979, graduated from Yantai Universtiy in 2001 and got the Ph.D degree from Northwest Institute of Plateau Biology in 2006. The research work spans a broad range of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Tibet medicine (TM) and the natural characteristic biological resources in the Qinghai-Tibet plateau: (1)Extraction, separation and structural determination of chemical compositions in TCM and TM,(2)Building up methods for analyzing the effective compounds by HPLC-MS, CE and GC-MS techniques,(3)Study on the active effect of the compounds by cell methods. Doing some bioanalytical chemistry research in chemistry department of Simon Fraser Universtiy as visting scholar supported by Chinese Academy of Sciences. In recent years, there are more than fifty papers published and eighteen patents applied.
