On the morning of March 17, nearly one hundred people attended the grand ceremony which marks the start of project on construction of Wuwei Research Station of Modern Eco-agriculture in Wuwei, Gansu province.

“We have higher expectations during the project’s safe construction and of the final outcome, and we hope it could be completed on time.” said WANG Ping, deputy director of Northwest Institute of Plateau Biology, CAS.

Wuwei Research Station, affiliated to NWIPB, will mainly research modern agriculture, environmental protection and restoration, psammophytic utilization, conservation of endangered animals, conversion of relevant achievements and so on.
